Responsibilities
Focus on technological solution delivery by guiding and inspiring strong coding practices and solid software design decisions among the team.
Grow and mentor engineers as it relates to technical skills and career development.
Assist with cross-team strategic efforts, influencing decisions to achieve efficient delivery of business value.
Understand cross-team technical roadmaps, advocating new product abilities based on technical strategy and constraints.

Required
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to six years of relevant technical experience
Three to four years of leading a software engineering team
Preferred
Experience in Microservices/API development using Java/Spring boot
Past Experience with React.js and its core principles, Angular JS is a plus
Experience in Cloud native development in Azure, AWS or GCP is preferred
Experience in streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark is preferred
Experience with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, and/or MS SQL
Experience in NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Familiarity with more current specifications of ECMAScript
Prior experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
Experience in Jenkins/Cloud bees, Apigee, Kubernetes, Rancher
Thorough understanding of a feature, the users impacted, the flows impacted and feature's purpose
Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
Able to communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors and customers
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days
