Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between users and technical staff to interpret needs, plan processing schedules, develop reports, and define interfaces.
Enhance the use of software systems, coordinate new/upgrades of hardware/software, and develop reports and analyses.
Participate in strategic planning for corporate business system development.
Manage and administer business systems hands-on, perform technical administration, user management, application configuration, and reporting.
Define and coordinate activities between user departments and external agencies.
Provide training, guidance, and direction to less experienced staff.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations while conducting business.

Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related discipline
Fifteen or more years of progressive professional experience in business systems analysis
Technical experience working with computerized business development, sales, inventory/warehouse management, supply chain, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, financial, accounting, aftermarket sustainment, or other business related systems
Experienced in leading and coordinating interactions between business system end-users and technical staff
Complete operational and system understanding of business management functions such as master data, opportunity management, sales order management, purchasing, inventory/warehouse control, customer invoicing, maintenance/repair/overhaul, etc.
Experience in developing and coordinating the development of reports from business systems and evaluating new or upgraded relevant software and hardware
Customer focused, able to look at long-term trends and emerging requirements, and understand government cost accounting
Action-oriented, takes initiatives, possesses accurate judgment for appropriate decision-making, prepare and lead presentations, create business process maps and functional systems/solution architecture diagram, and manage projects through Microsoft Project (Online)
Able to work extended hours as required
Preferred
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics 365, Ramco Aviation Suite
Knowledge of aviation industry maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) business process and/or systems experience
Knowledge of Mendix application development platform
IT project management experience and skills
Knowledge of CRM systems such as Dynamics CE
Knowledge of defense contracting industry with project systems, grouping/pegging/distribution (GPD) solution
May substitute equivalent working experience in the field in lieu of education
