Responsibilities

Highly measurement/inspection focused role within injection molding group

Work directly with the injection molding team to develop and implement inspection plans for medical device parts and prototypes

Program various measurement/inspection systems

Develop inspection methods, document test methods, and validate them

Design inspection fixtures using Solidworks

Develop experimental strategy, analyze data, and troubleshoot existing inspection methods/programs

Collaborate with R&D to develop product concepts and provide input on design for manufacturability

Work cross-functionally to develop processes and measurement technologies for new products

Required

Minimum of 2 years of injection molding process engineering experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technical field

Experience programming measurement/inspection systems, including Keyence, IM, Keyence LM, Keyence VR, Keyence VK, Smartscope, and Hexagon CMM

Preferred

3 years of injection molding process engineering experience

Demonstrated understanding and usage of statistics to drive improvements

Demonstrated understanding of problem solving and root cause investigations

Experience with Process Verification and Validation

Medical device or other regulated industry experience

Excels in a collaborative, cross-site environment

Expertise in Operations or New Product Development

Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technical environment

Open to travel of up to 10% of their time
