Responsibilities

Assist clients in discovering and understanding cyber risks, applicable policies, and mitigation plans.

Gather technical, environmental, and personnel details to assess the threat landscape.

Guide clients through security concepts and decisions to secure critical infrastructure.

Develop and implement risk management strategies.

Present IT security risk to executive management.

Work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.

Conduct security control assessments in a cloud environment if applicable.

Required

10+ years of experience with security control assessments

5+ years of experience in a lead role

3+ years of experience with successfully managing project schedules and developing required deliverables using established client templates

3+ years of experience with developing and implementing risk management strategies

Knowledge of NIST SP 800 series and testing NIST 800-53 security controls

Ability to present IT security risk to executive management

Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined and dynamic team

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Bachelor's degree

CISSP, CISM, or CISA Certification

Preferred

Experience with assessing security controls in a cloud environment
