Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect the organization’s networks, systems, and data.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats, responding to security incidents promptly.
Perform security audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
Lead and mentor junior cybersecurity staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure comprehensive security strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO/IEC 27001).
Develop and maintain incident response plans, conducting regular drills and updates.
Participate in the design and implementation of secure infrastructure solutions.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
Proven experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, antivirus software, and encryption.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common security frameworks.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
