Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver software solutions using agile principles.

Serve as a mentor for less experienced team members.

Train, mentor, and support the product and development teams in agile methodology.

Identify issues and risks, create action items to mitigate or resolve them.

Lead scrum meetings and decision-making processes.

Work with product owners and managers to allocate resources and plan for the work assigned.

Create and communicate reports surrounding team KPIs.

Ensure a collaborative nature among the teams and remove barriers.

Support team deliverables and coordinate cross-team dependencies.

Recommend improvements to the software development lifecycle.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

5+ years of relevant job experience

Strong knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and techniques

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle

Strong analytical and research skills

Good organizational and presentation skills

Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills

Strong desire for team success

Proficiency with Jira and Confluence

Experience serving as a liaison with developers, project managers, and technical and non-technical business partners

Experience with Scrum techniques, such as refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, and retrospection

Preferred

Advanced degree or certification related to field

8+ years of relevant job experience

Certified Scrum Master certification

Relevant experience in several banking aspects, including online banking (OLB), online account opening (OAO), loan origination and servicing, payments, and cards

Experience in the FinTech space

Prior leadership experience

Ability to make sound and timely decisions, to consistently deliver on commitments, and assume responsibility for results

Ability to think creatively and meet challenges with resourcefulness

Ability to prioritize competing demands and effectively manage multiple tasks and/or projects

Take initiative to research and resolve problems, and undertake activities with minimal supervision

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instruction and speak clearly to fellow associates

Ability to train and coach associates, as appropriate
