Responsibilities

Responsible for entering and reviewing invoices for accurate recording/coding of information to automated system, ensuring appropriate vendors are paid and payments are made on a timely basis

Support the Controller and Assistant Controller in the day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, accrued expenses, and month-end close

Responsible for reviewing and approving monthly expense reports, flagging and reviewing exceptions with compliance & answering expense and payment questions to inquiring employees

Active involvement and support in operational Accounting processes

Account analysis

Proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with GAAP

Preparation and review of journal entries for accruals/reserves, preparation and review of supporting documents

Various administrative duties in support of the Finance team as required

Ad-hoc special projects
