Responsibilities
Support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment
Develop and support network fabric and systems through automation
Collaborate with program/project managers for network lifecycle management
Serve as technical lead for team projects and contribute to roadmap development
Participate in network solution and architecture design process
Provide break-fix support, lead post-event root cause analysis, and automate routine tasks
Collaborate with network vendor technical teams for bug fixes and new firmware qualification

Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related engineer field with 1-5+ years Network Engineer experience.
Experience working in a network operations role or experience with network troubleshooting.
Extensive experience with scripting or automation and datacenter design – Python preferred.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GIT, and Linux.
Strong exposure to commodity Ethernet hardware (Broadcom/Mellanox), protocol experience with BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, and MACSEC.
Experience with networking fundamentals which encompasses protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and SSL.
Experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
Experience with governance, risk, compliance, and security matters including collaborating with internal and external parties during audits and other compliance related activities.
Preferred
Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment.
Experience working with Python for network automation and network configuration management.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
