Responsibilities
Lead a variety of complex heavy civil projects from start to finish.
Manage project administration, cost control, design/engineering issue resolution, client management, plan reading, and scheduling.
Navigate working with government entities as clients and understand DOT project requirements.
Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors effectively.
Be willing to travel and demonstrate resilience, emotional intelligence, and the ability to think on your feet.

Required
Must have experience leading at least one (1) relevant project as a General Contractor from start to finish.
Must have DOT (Department of Transportation) project experience. You must understand and be willing to navigate the intricacies of working with Government entities as clients.
Examples of required relevant project experience: Drainage, Bridges, Mass Earthwork, Electrical, Subsurface Utilities, Piping/Pipelines, Roadways, Highways, Concrete Flatwork and Structures, Curb and Gutter, Reservoirs and Dams, Rail, or Overall Heavy Civil/Horizontal projects.
Must have experience operating in a General Contracting capacity; understand and demonstrate capabilities of managing the nuances of a project including such things as: Project Administration, Cost Control, Design or Engineering Issue Resolution/Management, Client Management/ Relationship Management, Plan Reading, Scheduling etc.
Must be tech-savvy and be able to get easily trained on systems such as Primavera P6 and Viewpoint.
Must be willing to travel.
Must be capable and willing to manage people and teams; take gratification in being part of and leading a team, and embrace/thrive in the challenges this can produce.
Must be someone who is resilient and enjoys challenge.
Must be able to think on their feet, possess intellect & emotional intelligence, and can manage task experts including subcontractors and vendors.
Preferred
An experienced Construction Project Manager who is looking for an autonomous role backed by a leading GC.
An experienced Assistant Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer who can demonstrate they are ready to take the next step in their career and autonomously lead projects.
