Responsibilities
Perform instrument preventive maintenance and performance verification according to schedule and standards/SOPs.
Conduct instrument troubleshooting and support investigations as needed.
Write or review validation protocols and technical reports.
Review internal and external documents and make recommendations.
Collect, calculate, interpret, document, and report test results following ALCOA principles.
Write SOPs related to testing programs, laboratory operations, equipment operation, and validation projects.
Perform investigative testing, root cause analysis, and write laboratory investigations.
Review equipment calibration and maintenance, serve as instrument advocate, and identify appropriate lab instrumentation purchases.
Conduct peer review, lead laboratory initiatives, train analysts, perform statistical analysis, and act as an SME for critical processes and testing.
Utilize change control systems, inventory management, and support tracking and reporting of laboratory performance metrics.
Lead day-to-day activities and act as a backup to the supervisor when needed.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience or high school +16 yrs; Assoc.+10yrs; M.S & PhD.+0 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
10 Years of Relevant Experience 2 Years of Demonstrated Leadership Chemistry background with experience in analytical instrument is a must.
Preferred
Self-driven, project-oriented and troubleshooting are highly preferred.
