Responsibilities

Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.

In-depth knowledge of major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.

Experience with major router platforms, specifically Juniper MX960, MX480, PTX1000, PTX10002 and Cisco ASR9K.

Robust troubleshooting skills and network analysis fundamentals.

Expertise in protocols & technologies such as DWDM, Ethernet, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP, BGP, OSPF, LDP, RSVP, Traffic Engineering technologies, TACACS, netflow.

Utilize scripting/coding knowledge for network tasks.

Required

Minimum of 7+ years industry experience

Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols

In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols; specifically BGP and OSPF

In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms; specifically with Juniper MX960, MX480, PTX1000, PTX10002 and Cisco ASR9K

Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills

Significant past experience with protocols & technologies: DWDM, Ethernet, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, LDP, RSVP, Traffic Engineering technologies, TACACS, netflow

Scripting/Coding knowledge is a plus

Certification Required: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)

OSPF, BGP - Routing and Switching experience

Good with Linux, TCP/IP troubleshooting
