Responsibilities

Minimum 8+ years Java software development experience

Demonstrated experience translating systems requirements to software requirements.

Previous experience leading a software development team, including managing and monitoring team assignments against technical approaches and reporting progress.

Strong object-oriented development background.

Experience in Linux/windows shell scripting.

Experience with Industry best-practice software development and collaboration tools in an Agile DevOps environment.

Strong communication/presentation skills

Position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred

Familiarity with software development standards and with the capabilities of related Department of Defense software systems; knowledge of Modelling and Simulation

Knowledge of military simulation systems.
