Responsibilities

Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau reports ensuring scalability, manageability, performance, and reusability

Architecture Management: Oversee Tableau-driven architecture and administration

Visualization Creation: Develop visualizations using best practices for organizational use

Project Leadership: Lead Tableau projects, using experience to suggest innovative solutions during planning and delivery phases

Requirement Translation: Work with stakeholders and internal teams to translate requirements into KPIs and visually compelling dashboards

Style Guide Contribution: Help establish visual design standards by contributing to the team's style guide

Data Comprehension: Understand underlying data and its business applications

Dashboard Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in existing dashboards

Feature Experimentation: Integrate new features and enhancements from Tableau into the platform and organization

Security Implementation: Define access controls and implement necessary security measures

Issue Resolution: Independently resolve issues related to workbooks and data sources

Training and Assistance: Provide Tableau training and assistance

General Duties: Perform other tasks as needed for the efficient operation of the department and firm

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience

5-10 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau dashboards and analytics, with knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture

Strong understanding of SQL and relational database design and implementation

Data Visualization: Proficiency in best practices for data visualization

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Tableau's capabilities, techniques, and standards for creating dashboards and reports
