Responsibilities
Prepare budgets, forecasts and other financial models as directed
Perform regulatory, competitive, industry and other relevant research to inform strategy and planning
Create budget templates
Automate standard financial and operating reports/metrics
Assist in developing proposals for payer and health system contracting
Assist with clinical (HEDIS, Stars, etc.), operational (productivity, quality, effectiveness), marketing/sales, and revenue cycle metrics
Supports or directly develops presentations, and presents findings/analysis to leadership
Analyzes data and synthesizes findings for stakeholders
Support the acquisition due diligence, including valuation of new acquisition
Ad-hoc requests as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or another quantitative field
Experience developing and interpreting Financial Statements
2+ years of experience in a financial analyst role, or advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in Finance) in lieu of experience
Prior healthcare experience required, preferably in Managed Medicare (e.g., Medicare Advantage plans or Value Based Care – VBC provider groups)
Experience developing and maintaining financial models, forecasts, financial analysis & profitability analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects at once with direction from multiple leaders
Enjoys working in ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced work environment to meet objectives
Comfortable working remotely, but available to travel as needed
Strong work ethic – resilient, relentless follow-through, and attention to detail
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel & Power Point
Comfortable working with large datasets
Ability to read through and interpret legislation and regulatory filings, and assess the potential impacts
Effective time management & organization skills
Preferred
Experience with finance & analytical software – QuickBooks, Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, Python, etc. are preferred
