Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team to enhance Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) infrastructure.
Partner with product, engineering, and design to bring new product features to life.
Contribute to an evolving ML roadmap to increase value for enterprise level customers.
Design and implement an infrastructural vision for ML model inference and monitoring.
Provide solid documentation of work, including in-code documentation and customer-facing materials.
Independently execute on model/feature development plans considering various factors.
Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Advise teammates on code quality, tests, and documentation.
Promote inclusive, transparent communication and collaboration.

Required
BA/BS in a field emphasizing mathematics and/or science research. MA / MS / PhD preferred.
6+ years of experience using machine learning software and relevant programming languages, such as Python, PyTorch, Pandas and Numpy
6+ years of relevant work experience in backend software engineering, with 2+ years of experience with testing, deploying and monitoring data science and machine learning models
6+ years of work experience with AWS cloud offerings, including SQS, S3, EC2, and Lambda
6+ years of work experience with relational databases such as SQL
6+ years of work experience working with Docker containers and Kubernetes
An autonomous, action-oriented, curious and entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to translate technical requirements into a project plan, and execute on the plan with a high level of respect for meeting deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without an employment VISA or other sponsorship
Preferred
MA / MS / PhD in a field emphasizing mathematics and/or science research
Experience with AWS machine learning services
Experience with standard data analysis and model development tools, mostly Python, to work with structured and unstructured data, as well as both numeric and text data
