Responsibilities
Deliver timely and accurate scheduled reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Clarify report needs with clients, create and deliver analysis, and ensure data quality and integrity.
Develop and deliver complex ad hoc reports, provide suggestions and recommendations, and learn new technologies for reporting and analysis.
Serve as a resource to Analyst I and II, provide training, and advance knowledge of reporting and analysis.
Anticipate customer needs, guide clients in structuring reports, and make recommendations based on data analysis.
Work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to various Patient Accounting systems, and partner with clients on strategy alignment.
Utilize relational database management systems, advanced SQL language skills, and desktop applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Possess experience with VBA, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Ensure consistency and integrity of reported data, communicate improvement opportunities to business unit leaders, and oversee Analyst I and/or II.

Required
4-year college degree in Business, Accounting, IS, Engineering and 5-7 years analytics and reporting experience
Advanced problem solving, conceptual and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills, data presentation/visualization and technical capabilities
Detail oriented, meticulous, and accurate in completing tasks on time
Excellent communication, customer service and time-management skills
Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to provide strategic and analytical guidance
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members and customers
Ability to anticipate customer needs and guide clients in structuring needed reports
Make recommendations based on analysis and interpretation of data
Ability to develop and maintain documentation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to help co-workers when needed and respond positively to cross-training
Adaptability to various Patient Accounting systems
Basic business skills, understanding of general financial operations and major AR goals
Advanced knowledge of relational database management systems such as AS/400, Showcase, MS Access, MS SQL Server/MySQL
Advanced SQL language skills (creating complex queries and stored procedures)
Proficient with various desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Access
VBA, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy or similar experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Experience in a hospital work environment
