Responsibilities
Initiate the acquisition, preparation, and analysis of data for decision-making.
Oversee broad data research projects of major policy importance.
Provide expert consultation to key personnel and senior executives.

Required
Degree in Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or related field
Specialized experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent
Developing research questions and conducting descriptive, predictive, and optimization analysis
Experience communicating data science principles and research results to technical and non-technical audiences
Using technology relevant to modern data products, tools, and methods (e.g., AWS, Databricks, APIs, business intelligence solutions, cloud computing platforms, etc.)
Leading communications and messaging campaigns from start to completion
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
