Responsibilities

Collaborate with Other Professionals: Work closely with stakeholders to determine both functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.

Use Tools and Methodologies: Utilize appropriate tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces of the desired product.

Develop High-Level Specifications: Create high-level product specifications with a focus on system integration, scalability, reliability, and feasibility.

Define Development Aspects: Determine all aspects of development from appropriate technology and tools/platforms to workflow and coding standards.

Communicate Concepts: Effectively communicate all concepts and guidelines to the development team.

Oversee Development Progress: Monitor the development team’s progress to ensure consistency with the initial design.

Provide Technical Guidance: Offer technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.

Ensure Software Quality: Ensure the software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.

Approve Final Product: Approve the final product before launch to ensure it meets all specified requirements.
