Responsibilities
Perform instrument preventive maintenance and performance verification according to schedule and standards/SOPs.
Conduct instrument troubleshooting and support investigations as required.
Write and review validation protocols and technical reports.
Review internal and external documents, providing recommendations when necessary.
Collect, calculate, interpret, document, and report test results following ALCOA principles.
Develop and take ownership of SOPs related to testing programs, laboratory operations, equipment operation, and validation projects.
Perform investigative testing, lead laboratory investigations, and participate in root cause analysis.
Conduct equipment calibration and maintenance, and identify appropriate lab instrumentation purchases.
Lead laboratory initiatives, train analysts on procedures and test methods, and perform statistical analysis.
Utilize change control systems, inventory management, and act as a subject matter expert for critical processes and testing.
Lead day-to-day activities and support tracking and reporting of laboratory performance metrics.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience or high school +16 yrs; Assoc.+10yrs; M.S & PhD.+0 yrs
10 Years of Relevant Experience
2 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
Chemistry background with experience in analytical instrument is a must
Preferred
Self-driven, project-oriented, and troubleshooting skills
