Responsibilities

Lead analytics initiatives for expanding Personalization product across placements and channels.

Conduct data science research on algorithms and levers driving the product.

Identify opportunities to enhance product levers and gaps in the existing framework.

Partner with marketing, product, and tech teams to drive initiatives.

Required

Masters in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Operation Research, Computer Science and etc.) with at least 3+ years of work experience leveraging sophisticated analytical and data science techniques to drive business results.

Strong quantitative skills with a solid understanding of statistics.

Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R, or the equivalent), and experience with databases (Hive, SQL, or the equivalent).

Prior experience working with very large datasets using Big Data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or the equivalent). Experience working in UNIX/Linux and distributed computing environments.

Strong relationship building, management and influencing skills.

Preferred

Creativity to go beyond current tools to construct and deliver the best solution to the problem.

Ability and comfort with working independently and making key decisions on projects.

Demonstrated ability to frame business problems into mathematical programming problems, leverage external thinking and tools (to engineer a solvable solution to deliver business insights.
