Responsibilities

Analyze complex business problems using SQL, Looker, and other BI tools to generate actionable insights

Lead cross-functional projects, optimizing processes and partnering with product teams

Design and implement scalable data solutions to improve decision-making

Establish best practices for A/B testing

Deliver key insights to senior leaders and the board to optimize business performance

Lead and define the vision and strategy of the BI department

Hire, train, mentor, and review work of BI analysts and managers

Support career growth, manage responsibilities, and maximize team productivity

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Finance, Economics, or similar quantitative field

8+ yrs. of relevant work experience in BI, analytics, or a related field

5+ yrs. experience with SQL and the desire to work with large, complex datasets

2+ yrs. of experience managing people

Strong knowledge of Looker, Tableau, Excel, and/or other BI tools

Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work autonomously

Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance competing priorities

Strong business judgment and high attention to detail

Desire and ability to help level up other team members’ knowledge and skills

Ability to communicate complex and technical information to broad audiences in an effective and compelling manner

Must have strong experience in Business Intelligence within a consumer-face space for a b2c business model

Preferred

Prior experience with A/B testing, subscription businesses, marketing-driven businesses, product analytics, web analytics, and database management are all nice to haves
