Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions on the Azure platform, including data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical models.

Partner with business teams to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical requirements.

Build data pipelines (ETL) to seamlessly extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.

Craft and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines for efficient data retrieval and processing.

Transform data into compelling visuals and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools, empowering business users with actionable insights.

Champion data security best practices to keep information safe and sound.

Troubleshoot and maintain BI solutions, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Stay on top of the latest trends in BI and data analytics, keeping our solutions future-proof.

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.

Solid experience as a BI Developer or Data Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.

You're a whiz with SQL and have experience working with relational databases.

You've designed and implemented data warehouses and dimensional data models before.

Proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

A keen eye for detail with top-notch analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Azure data services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Analysis Services is a plus.

Familiarity with data security and compliance standards is a bonus.
