Responsibilities

Actively build positive, collaborative relationships with clients to understand business priorities and align assets with priorities.

Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring engagement, meaningful contributions, and sustainable pace with high quality.

Facilitate various Agile meetings like stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, planning, and grooming.

Act as an agile coach to adapt teams to Agile/Scrum methodology and promote collaboration, predictability, and innovation.

Monitor and manage team goals and performance, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

Deep-dive into problem areas, develop corrective action plans, and drive successful resolutions.

Establish and manage product roadmap, manage project scope, schedule, and costs.

Manage project budget tracking, burndown tracking, and ensure projects remain within scope and budget.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.

5-8 years of Project or Program Management and related experience in the federal government.

Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities.

Ability to clarify the process, brainstorm solutions, and assist in conflict resolution

Experience using agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Experience adapting newly formed teams to scrum and leading their journey through the stages of storming, forming, and norming.

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum techniques.

A love to learn and improve as a leader, always looking to bring something new and helpful to the team. Embodies the agile principles and leads by example.

Strong knowledge of Scrum theory and agile practices.

PMP certification/PRINCE2 certification (or other certifications acknowledged by organizations such as PMI or APM).
