Responsibilities
Develop strategies to implement identified cost reduction/product utilization optimization opportunities.
Work towards reducing off-contract spending and increasing contract compliance with the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO).
Drive cost-saving initiatives with stakeholders and implement identified opportunities.
Represent and lead the supply chain at the Analyst Committee to present cost-saving/utilization improvement opportunities.
Coordinate contract management activities including completion and tracking of contract documents.
Assist the Strategic Sourcing Manager on ad-hoc initiatives/projects outside of the routine work.

Required
Bachelor’s degree required; Finance / Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration/Engineering Management preferred.
At least 4 years experience in the Supply Chain Management Department
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must
Ability to quickly learn and understand business analytics and contracting processes in healthcare sourcing.
The candidate should be willing to develop a career in healthcare supply chain business.
The ability to quickly learn ERP systems and other software tools is a must.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred
Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for the experience requirement
Certifications in the field of the supply chain are a plus.
Experience in Group Purchasing Organization, (GPO) contracting is a plus.
Clinical Background a plus
