Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity. Identify opportunities for automation and implement technological solutions to streamline production workflows

Conduct root cause analyses for recurring issues and implement corrective & preventive measures

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address production issues and implement corrective actions

Feedback challenges in manufacturing to design engineering and advanced manufacturing counterparts for iteration in future products or designs

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering designs

Required

Degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering or related field with 1-4 years of demonstrated industry experience with a good foundation of analytical and problem-solving skills

Process layout experience with basic SPC and FMEA knowledge

Good understanding of how to break down bottleneck issues on the line and root-cause analyses for recurring issues and implementing corrective and preventative measures

Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired

Well-developed communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across a range of multidisciplinary engineering teams and business functions

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred

Machine shop experience and CAD proficiency are a plus
