Responsibilities

Develop software applications using Java EE.
Utilize cloud platform services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS for application development.
Implement Web-Services (SOAP/RESTful), JMS, MQ, MDBs.
Process XML/JSON data and Ajax.
Analyze and tune code/application performance under high volume/high availability environments.
Work with SQL/RDBMS, database design, and query optimization.
Implement test automation using tools like selenium, JMeter, etc.
Deploy applications on Linux/UNIX systems following best practices.
Utilize front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks.
Apply Agile development methodology to projects.
Communicate effectively, translate business requirements into solutions, and work both independently and in team environments.

Required

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing software applications using Java EE
Minimum 1+ years of experience with cloud platform services and application development using Microsoft Azure OR AWS
Extensive experience with Web-Services(SOAP/RESTful), JMS, MQ, MDBs
Extensive experience with processing XML/JSON data, Ajax
Experienced with analyzing and tuning code/application performance under High volume/High availability environments
Experienced with SQL/ RDBMS, database design, writing and tuning queries
Experience in test automation, selenium, JMeter, etc. is huge plus
Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks
Working knowledge various front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and popular JS frameworks
Innovative problem solver
Familiarity with Agile development methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate business requirements into working solutions
Results oriented with an ability to work in team and individual contributor work environments
Strong organization skills with good interpersonal skills and a customer service oriented attitude
