Responsibilities
Performing all work in alignment with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission and values
Arranging events and travel for conferences and training sessions
Entering program information into computer systems and maintaining databases
Providing reports on minors served by the agency
Coordinating newspaper advertisements
Collaborating with managers and other administrative staff
Procuring office supplies and maintaining equipment
Providing notary public services
Offering general administrative support
Attending meetings and recording minutes
Providing statistical data as needed
Performing other assigned duties

Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience and proficiency in the use of various office machines, including computer.
Travel arrangement aptitude.
Basic bookkeeping skills and experience.
Basic procurement skills and experience.
Ability to learn specialized software such as Electronic Health Record and Human Resources Information systems.
Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required.
Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to the service and advocacy for youth and families.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance and a good driving record.
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Spanish language proficiency.
Customer service: 1 year (Required)

Excellent oral and written communication skills, preferably in both English and Spanish.
