Responsibilities
Administer and maintain BMC/Remedy systems, ensuring high availability and performance
Configure and customize BMC/Remedy applications to meet organizational requirements
Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures
Provide user support and training to ensure efficient use of the BMC/Remedy platform
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including data protection and access controls
Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the BMC/Remedy environment remains robust and secure

Required
Active Secret Clearance or higher
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in administering BMC/Remedy systems
Proficiency in configuring and customizing BMC/Remedy applications
Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
Experience with database management and SQL
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
BMC Certified Professional or equivalent certification
Experience with BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) suite
Familiarity with cloud-based BMC/Remedy deployments
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl
