Responsibilities

Build secure, reliable, scalable and efficient backends systems.

Develop and maintain a GraphQL API.

Work as a team to develop high quality, testable applications based on product and regulatory requirements.

Contribute within a collaborative environment, using lean but effective software practices.

Design and coding practices consistent with security and regulatory standards.

Develop software to integrate with legacy application systems and infrastructure, as needed.

Required

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience designing and developing web applications.

Emphasis on designing and building backend systems and APIs (Graph preferred) and building systems at scale.

Excellent coding skills and strong proficiency in web technologies, with an emphasis in JavaScript web development in Azure or Linux-based hosting.

Experience with Node.js.

Strong knowledge of database technologies: PostgreSQL, Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, and Azure storage tables.

Demonstrated ability to tune application and database for performance.

Demonstrable strong design and programming fundamentals.

Familiarity with configuration management and issue tracking.

Preferred

Experience developing to any of HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC2, SOX, PCI standards preferred.

Familiarity with .NET/Python/Java preferred.
