Responsibilities

Reviews and assesses secondary data feeds from industry sources (e.g., specialty pharmacy, patient & HCP-level claims data, and other proprietary sources)

Helps maintain and develop databases and analytic applications in environments such as Tableau, Snowflake SQL, SAP, Excel/Access, and/or other proprietary environments

Contributes to hypothesis driven investigations into detailed channel dynamics, prescriber, patient, and transactional data

Document and maintain standardized market definitions and analytical business rules used for analysis and reports

Leverages internal data systems and tools to efficiently maintain data and reporting processes while minimizing manual data updates

Ensures timely receipt of data from vendors and ensures data integrity and quality throughout all processes

Required

Bachelor’s degree required

3-5 years of analytics and reporting experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry

Advanced capabilities using Tableau, Excel, and other data analysis tools & platforms

Proficiency using SQL

Experience analyzing complex datasets, preferably specialty pharmacy, patient & HCP-level claims data, and other proprietary sources

Ability to summarize data findings into clear, concise written explanations and slides/presentations (e.g., PowerPoint)

Demonstrated ability to balance time allocation across multiple requests

Positive and eagerness to learn, collaborate and partner with internal business colleagues

Excellent verbal, writing, presentation, project management

Work independently – Gathers input about needs from business partners and prioritizes activities based on business needs

Preferred

Experience with Tableau and database query (SQL, Alteryx, or Dataiku)

Ability to independently analyze data and identify meaningful insights

Ability to effectively allocate time based on request urgency and business needs
