Responsibilities

Working closely with clinical and business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and provide insights

Data Profiling on complex healthcare data sets to identify data quality issues and communicate findings

Building reports and dashboards for Clinical and Operations teams

Improving data management and reporting workflows

Implementing best practices and innovative solutions for data processes

Required

Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases

Solid foundation of data lake and data warehousing concepts

Experience with AWS services like Glue, S3, Athena

Proficiency in using modern reporting tools (like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or similar) to build dashboards and reports for KPIs and doing deep-dive data analysis

Experience with cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift

Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment independently

7+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence Developer or similar roles, who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field

Preferred

Experience working with healthcare data like Eligibility, Claims and have a deep understanding of underlying data issues

In-depth understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)

Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar

Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Airflow

Experience with big data tools: Spark, Kafka, etc

Certifications in BI tools or data management (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, AWS Certified Data Engineer/Developer)
