Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical, electrical, and power generation equipment and systems.
Operate systems safely and efficiently according to government regulations and standard procedures.
Conduct predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, equipment rounds, and service requests.
Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors to ensure proper operation.
Establish work procedures, recommend measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.
Maintain time and production records, customer service requests, and perform maintenance and repairs to various systems.
Monitor and maintain refrigeration, HVAC equipment, boilers, pumps, valves, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
Evaluate building systems to monitor and improve performance, comply with policies and procedures, and participate in emergency response procedures and safety training programs.
Perform all work using proper safety equipment and procedures.

Required
Must be or become a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 877 AFL-CIO
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical, electrical, and power generation equipment and systems
Operate systems in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with government regulatory compliance and standard operating procedures
Perform predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance
Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors
Perform visual and operational inspection of associated equipment
Establish work procedures to meet production schedules
Recommend measures to improve production methods and equipment performance
Maintain time and production records
Work with a wide-ranging and changing scope of responsibilities
Control the daily operation of all mechanical equipment in the physical plant and buildings
Perform maintenance and repairs to various systems for the facility
Monitor and maintain responsibility for tenant services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, and inventory control
Monitor operation and maintain various equipment such as refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, etc.
Complete all tenant service requests accurately and expediently
Evaluate building systems to monitor and improve performance
Comply with all policies and procedures for the building
Actively participate in emergency response procedures, technical, and safety training programs
Perform all work using proper safety equipment and in a safe manner
Act as the on-call engineer as requested by supervisor
