Responsibilities

Assist with setting up Azure for DEQ's Permit Transformation Project, including designing and implementing groups, virtual machines, databases, firewall rules, and VPN tunnels.

Create customer-owned environments, images, VNet and VPN gateways, and VDI machines based on custom images.

Set up Intune for managing VDI machines and assign resources to different zones.

Document the DevOps environment and establish proper access rights.

Conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions with the team during downtime.

Required

Azure Cloud Architect with expertise in Azure Cloud and NetAPP

Familiarity with MS Dynamic CRM

MDM Management

VNet groups

Demonstrated knowledge of directory services (Azure AD and AD)

Great interpersonal and leadership skills - leadership, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and documentation skills

On-Prem Architect skills

Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager / SCCM

Demonstrated knowledge of cloud computing and management (groups, users, virtual machines, etc.)

Thorough knowledge of firewalls (access groups, rules, ports, and specific pinhole connections)

Thorough knowledge of implementing secure, best practices, access for confidential data, and availability between all infrastructures

Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Experience with setting up Azure in a way that benefits DEQ

Knowledge of setting up groups, virtual machines, databases, firewall rules, and VPN tunnels from an operations and security standpoint

Knowledge of setting up Customer Owned environment, Create Images, Create VNet and VPN gateways, Create VDI machines based on Custom Images

Setup Intune for management of VDI machines, assigned to resources and resource groups in high, medium, and low zones

Documenting DevOps environment and setting up proper rights

Knowledge sharing and training with the team during downtime
