Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between customer and company to establish quality standards and resolve quality-related issues.
Review purchase orders and specifications for special requirements applicable to raw material casting.
Assure special requirements are included in manufacturing process and inspection plans.
Coordinate requirements with materials test, non-destructive test, and casting layout supervision.
Manage change processes and make revisions to ensure conformance to requirements.
Conduct documented system and job audits covering all plant departments.
Establish priorities, concentrate attention on high-risk areas, review job routing, and establish controls as required.
Visit customer facilities on quality-related issues.
Perform any other associated duties as directed by management.

Required

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Manufacturing Technology discipline
3-7 years of experience in aero/automotive/medical device/electronics assembly with SOLID Quality experience
Quality tool experience, such as 5y, Fish bone, SPC, FMEA, root cause/corrective action in MANUFACTURING PROCESS
ISO9001 internal audit/external audit, AS9100 internal audit experience is preferred

Preferred

Knowledge of investment casting technology, processes, and manufacturing methods
Experience in the aerospace industry: 5 years (Preferred)
AS9100 audit support: 2 years (Preferred)
