Responsibilities

Identify and research potential clients and markets to generate new business opportunities;
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's client base, revenue streams and meet long-term growth targets;
Recommend new product or process development opportunities through market research, identifying needs and trends and understanding the competitive landscape;
Manage product qualifications with customers including program milestone timing, budget and transition into commercial production;
Drive responsiveness to customer requests including developing project plans, negotiating contracts and preparing quotations or proposals;
Meet sales financial objectives by accurately forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action plans;
Capture information and analyzes data in the company’s CRM to transact and develop new sales opportunities;
Participate in technical/professional organizations or networking groups, attends trade shows and/or conferences to obtain new leads;
Prepare sales presentations to explain 6K Additive capabilities and competitive advantages;

Required

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business, Masters degree preferred
Five (5) plus years of experience with proven track record in business development, sales, or account management with experience in metal powders or advanced materials
Experience with managing product development or qualifications with end use customers; hands-on experience with additive manufacturing equipment and metal powders preferred
Deep, relevant, industry experience, including contacts and knowledge of the market
Customer focused attitude, with the ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions
Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial budgeting processes
Strong analytical, problem solving, time and project management skills required
Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite and CRM software
