Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute experiments and associated analyses and reports for early development pipeline programs.
Provide process development support in a team-based environment for technical development studies performed both internally and externally.
Participate in the development and characterization of cell therapy manufacturing processes.
Support technology transfer to partners at external contract manufacturing organization, including compilation of documentation (reports, SOPs, batch records, assessments)
Participate in laboratory set-up and equipment procurement and establish internal process development practices.
Assist with managing inventory of samples and maintain records as appropriate (including Electronic Lab Notebooks).
Author relevant documentation, including protocols, technical reports, and SOPs.
Organize, communicate, and present data to key stakeholders, senior management, and external partners.
Interface and work collaboratively with CDMO and testing lab partners.
Proactively enable cross-functional collaborations with internal stakeholders, external partners, and consultants.

Required
PhD with 0-2+ years of experience; MS with 1-2+ years or BS with 4+ years of experience; prior industry experience is preferred
2-3+ years of relevant experience in T-cell biology and immunotherapy
Demonstrated experience in cell therapy, immunology, or a closely related field
2-3+ years of relevant experience in process development for cell therapy is strongly preferred
Expertise in mammalian cell culture techniques is preferred
Experience in cell therapy unit operations such as cell selection, lentiviral transduction, cell culture, and expansion
Expertise with in-process measurements for cell count, metabolite analysis, and flow cytometry analysis is preferred
Flexible and creative; able to think outside the box
Flexible with work schedule and onsite availability, including occasional weekend work
Knowledge related to Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Electronic Lab Notebook record keeping (ELN)
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based on changing priorities
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to work above and beyond
Preferred
Prior industry experience
Expertise in mammalian cell culture techniques
Expertise with in-process measurements for cell count, metabolite analysis, and flow cytometry analysis
Proficient with MS Office, Design of Experiments, JMP, Benchling, and other productivity and data analysis tools is a plus
