Responsibilities

Be responsible for providing program management expertise to support day to day operations within the Division portfolio.

Follow in-place, and help develop administrative and monitoring support tools as required for daily operations associated with establishment, maintenance, and oversight of research projects.

Participate and provide guidance in the development of strategic and tactical acquisition planning.

Demonstrate capability to collect, analyze, and appraise acquisition data.

Possess and/or engage in learning defense acquisition and research policies and regulations.

Proofread and edit project plans, research proposals, and data collected by the program management team.

Identify and document programmatic risks using expert judgment and historical data.

Assist with all necessary contracting activities required to support project contract awards within the portfolio.

Design, implement, and assist with contractual and financial aspects of a project/program.

Utilize financial/programming data systems to retrieve, process, and synthesize information.

Perform budget tasks and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations and expenditures.

Provide technical guidance, advisory support, and assistance on research management issues.

Speak on behalf of the organization at executive levels within the Government and to contract/industry representatives.

Participate in portfolio reviews, conferences, and meetings to deliver presentations on program requirements.

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft software programs and acquire competency in program management and government business applications.

Other duties as needed.
