Responsibilities
Formulating the long-term advertising monetization strategy across Peacock & NBCU’s Ad Sales portfolio, while ensuring tactical year-to-year progress toward that vision.
Developing business case analyses, evaluating new monetization strategies and “whitespace” opportunities that drive revenue/demand.
Collaborating with stakeholders across business lines to establish buy-in and operationalize strategies, including colleagues in Sales, Finance, Product, Planning, and Marketing.
Supporting the partnership between Ad Sales and the broader NBCU Media Group by building strategies that inform and influence company-wide decisions.
Supporting the evaluation of new ad innovations on Peacock and setting priority KPIs to track in-market performance.
Driving marketplace insights to inform long-term growth opportunities.
Optimizing NBCU’s streaming product strategy to achieve revenue targets while being responsive to marketplace conditions and the competitive landscape.
Supporting the annual strategic planning process by analyzing the revenue impact of future-facing business cases and ad product development.
Partnering with Finance and Planning teams to update financial models, long-term forecasts, and scenario analyses.
Collaborating with Sales and across Strategy teams to develop product solutions for category and client challenges.
Regularly assessing in-market performance and Sales feedback & developing recommendations to maximize monetization.
Developing C-Suite presentations to recommend or inform on advertising strategy, performance, and new opportunities for growth and investment to Ad Sales leadership and/or corporate executives.
Assisting business leaders with analyses and presentation support as needed.
Benchmarking and developing Peacock’s positioning vs. streaming competitors and the broader advertising marketplace.
Driving ad hoc requests with thoughtful, diligent analytics in coordination with cross-functional partners.

Required
4+ years previous relevant work experience; this could include media experience at a tech/network/streaming company, professional services (e.g., consulting, investment banking), or corporate strategy/finance.
Proven quantitative analytical abilities, including Excel modeling skills.
Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; the ability to present results of complex analyses clearly.
Excellent organizational, time and people management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently.
Must possess a passion for media and strong intellectual curiosity.
BA/BS required.
Preferred
Previous experience in advertising sales or at a media company a plus. Consulting background strongly preferred.
Passion for diving into complex concepts, defining value propositions, and collaborating with other business lines on long-term growth strategies.
Ideal candidate is a proactive individual who possesses the ability to take initiative and perform analysis and other tasks with minimal supervision, including the ability to deal with competing priorities effectively, and work efficiently in a high-paced, results-oriented environment.
Ability to develop strong relationships with across all levels of the organization.
