Responsibilities
Works closely with IT leadership to ensure project scope and direction are on schedule.
Collaborates with software engineering teams to deliver robust software systems.
Coordinates internal resources and vendors for project execution.
Develops project scopes and objectives, involving stakeholders for technical feasibility.
Ensures projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Manages relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Performs risk management to minimize project risks.
Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation and artifacts.
Reports project performance and escalates issues to management as needed.

Required
Minimum of six years of project management experience, including proven working experience managing projects in the information technology sector.
Proven experience managing moderately to significantly complex and sizable projects with medium to large, cross-functional teams.
Solid technical background, with understanding of software development life cycle.
Familiarity with Agile and waterfall project management methods.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
Proven experience in change management.
Proficient in project management software.
Business skills, budgeting, and analysis.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Capacity to identify and connect complex software development efforts to broader business needs.
Strong work ethic, professional, organized, and flexible; able to work independently to solve issues through self-directed research and troubleshooting.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred
Project Management certification or equivalent.
Familiarity with business requirements gathering and documentation.
Understanding of user interface/experience principles.
Project portfolio management.
