Responsibilities

Understanding business requirements and defining test strategies/plan for applications.

Developing and maintaining Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups, and other SQA artifacts.

Executing Test scripts via Automation tools and conducting smoke/sanity tests for test readiness.

Identifying regression cases, participating in developing test suites, and performing Integration, Regression, Compatibility, and User acceptance testing phases.

Developing utilities to enable QA efficiencies and maintaining/tracking test deliverables in the test management tool.

Participating in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos, and application walkthroughs.

Collaborating with business and development teams in delivering work items without ambiguity and replicating production defects in lower environments.

Having prior Functional Testing experience, strong Functional and Application testing skillset, and ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level.

Creating and maintaining Test sets for complex application workflows, proficiency with different Automation tools, and executing test cases via automation tools.

Experience of working in a distributed team environment, good problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, knowledge in writing SQL queries, proficiency with VB scripting, Java, and JavaScripting.

Strong practical experience using Scrum, Agile modeling, and adaptive software development.

Required

Minimum 7+ years of experience

Prior work experience in Capital Markets/Financial domain is a must

Strong Functional and Application testing skillset

Ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level

Expertise in creating and maintaining Test sets for complex application workflows

Proficiency with different Automation tools

Experience of working in distributed team environment

Good problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Knowledge in writing SQL queries

Preferred
