Responsibilities

Building out whole new capabilities/features in the platform together with the UI/UX team and frontend engineers.

Collaborating with other backend/API engineers to design and develop services supporting the user-facing frontend Angular application.

Improving application development, testing, and release automation processes.

Developing and maintaining application data models and software connecting to and managing databases.

Reviewing changes by other engineers impacting the platform, providing guidance, and ensuring alignment with the roadmap.

Investigating escalated issues from customers and bug fixing.

Researching and executing integration of the current Threat Hunting platform with the future next-generation Threat Intelligence platform.

Required

Demonstrable experience building production user-facing applications, specifically REST APIs supporting both frontend applications and other direct integrations. Prior experience with Typescript / Node / NestJS will be an added advantage.

Experience mentoring other engineers through code reviews and developing team standards and best practices.

Experience working with relational and non-relational databases. Experience with Postgres and Elasticsearch will be a distinct advantage.

Familiarity with message brokers / queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ will be a distinct advantage.

Familiarity with monorepo development and any full-stack development experience working on frontend applications will be a distinct advantage.

Familiarity with modern CI/CD systems. Experience with cloud infrastructure, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. will all be considered added advantages.

Any familiarity with the cyber security industry will be a distinct advantage.
