Responsibilities

Track orders via each 3PL portal and provide tracking updates, updated ETAs, and communicate any delays to customers

Coordinate special shipments and expedited shipping requests

Provide professional suggestions on shipping routes and gather quotes from carriers

Maintain all logistic-related files, including Receiving Reports, Shipments Receipts, Bill of Ladings, and prepare International Shipping documents as requested

Understand routing guides and adhere to all customer shipment routing requirements

Manage outbound deliveries to 3PLs within the company ERP system, SAP

Follow up on orders coming due where product batches have not yet been picked/shipped

Coordinate and monitor all outbound freight

Execute stock transfer orders between 3PLs to meet order fulfillment requirements

Monitor product expiration dates to ensure product meets customer shelf-life requirements

Mitigate short shipments wherever possible – stay abreast of inbound shipments to 3PLs to prevent stockouts

Assist 3PL transportation teams in rescheduling and confirming appointments, requesting due date changes to accommodate 3PL sailing schedules and carriers whenever possible
