Conflicts Analyst

Responsibilities
Research prospective clients and other entities in internal databases and external references consistent with established department procedures.
Provide clear and well written summaries of potential conflicts issues and possible resolutions to attorneys using established guidelines.
Regularly consult with the Manager to discuss conflicts reports and responses from attorneys that require additional review and suggest resolutions.
Follow up in a timely manner with attorneys and assistants to ensure resolution of conflicts issues.
Respond accurately to department email inquiries in a timely fashion.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Be available for overtime as needed.

Required
Candidates must have at least one year of legal conflicts experience.
Critical thinking, strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as good attention to detail.
Ability to work individually, as well as part of a team.
Comfortable communicating with Supervisor, attorneys, and support staff.
Preferred
Prior conflicts experience with a law firm, a professional service, or academic environment is preferred.
Experience with Outlook, iManage, Aderant software (Conflicts Web Browser, Expert Assistant, and Expert), S&P Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters’ Company Investigator is a plus.
