Required

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, related STEM major and 5 years applicable software development experience; or equivalent experience.

Must have an active Secret clearance for consideration.

Documented experience with "Hands-on" skills in at least one object-oriented, procedural, functional, or declarative programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++/Objective-C/C#, Python, Go, NodeJS, JavaScript, Ruby, HTML5, MySQL, MongoDB, Git)

Experience collaborating in a distributed team environment to develop and deliver both prototype and production software that spans the full tech stack, from the back end to the front-end

Knowledge of the entire software lifecycle, from design/architecture to agile development, testing, continuous integration, deployment (CI/CD), and support

Knowledge of Agile practices and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). Ability to identify process improvements, act as an Agile Change Agent, and leverage Agile metrics for program and product improvement.

Knowledge of web apps and frameworks, services, or standards across the full stack (i.e., HTML/CSS, SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, JSON, HTTP, async, REST, React, Django, etc.)

Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment toolchains and commercial cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to automate the software development lifecycle

Knowledge of popular development tools and platforms like Github/Gitlab, Jira, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

Familiarity with multiple operating systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, Mac)

Interest in or contributions to open-source projects

An entrepreneurial spirit

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability and desire to quickly learn and apply new technologies

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues

This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site

Preferred

Advanced degree in applicable STEM major

Related SW engineering internships are a plus.
