Responsibilities

Be an advocate for how data can give Teamshares a competitive advantage by forming a vision for how data science methodologies can improve the business

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and peers in the Data Science & Analytics function, fostering an environment of excellence, innovation, and collaboration

Lead the team to design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility, and preparing the foundation for advanced data analytics

Build predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques for classification and regression, assess model performance, and communicate with stakeholders

Foster a data-driven culture by proactively elevating metrics reporting and understanding

Guide development of new and more sophisticated applications of data

Collaborate with partners in product and finance to translate business needs into suitable technical solutions with the appropriate level of detail

Derive insights from data to improve understanding of network companies, their journey, and the effectiveness of tactics to improve financial performance

Required

2+ years experience as a people manager

Strong experience in developing and implementing an analytic vision to solve business-relevant problems, as well as motivating and leading teams to successful implementation

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights

Prior experience in delivering impact using statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners as well as senior leadership
