Responsibilities

Work with IT project, product, and development teams to create and maintain release schedules

Manage version control and release documentation

Perform risk assessments and contingency planning

Manage and execute the deployment of build to UAT and Production environments

Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate release plans and progress

Define and drive the execution of the CI/CD process for the IT application

Manage SDLC environment refresh and schedule working with project managers and IT leads

Required

8+ years of proven experience as a Release Engineer or in DevOps

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline and build tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Harness etc.

Must have experience working as a Devops Engineer for Enterprise who understands SDLC for SFDC, SAP, SNAPLOGIC, MICROSERVICES and/or Workday

Proficiency in scripting to automate repetitive tasks such as Python

Experience with version control systems GitHub, Gitlab CI

Comfortable communicating directly with software developers, QA Engineers, IT Support

Experience working in an Agile, scrum environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent military experience required

Must located in SF bay area to be onsite 3 days / week

Preferred

Master’s degree is preferred
