Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java and Angular applications
Work independently to design solutions based on stories
Develop microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot stack
Utilize Rest API standards and best practices to build Microservices
Debug production level issues with messaging frameworks like Rabbit MQ
Work with NOSQL databases (SOLR, Cassandra, MongoDB) and SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
Implement Redis cache, Unit Test Writing, Docker, Kubernetes, and Containerization
Utilize Azure or other Cloud platforms for development
Create and utilize REST / JSON web service clients
Design and architect scalable and resilient enterprise software
Participate in 24/7 production support team on a rotating basis
Utilize code versioning tools like Git, GitHub, and Agile development methodologies
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Required
10 years of software development experience preferably in Java
Java tech stack is a must with Angular Web
Has good experience in SQL server and Azure cloud
Should be able to work independently and design based on stories
3+ years of microservices and API development experience using Java and Spring Boot stack
In-depth Java/J2EE experience with Rest API standards and best practices to build Microservices
Experience with Microservices development frameworks such as Spring Boot
Production debug level experience with messaging frameworks such as Rabbit MQ
Experience with NOSQL databases (SOLR, Cassandra, MongoDB)
Experience with SQL databases (SOL Server, Oracle)
Experience with Redis cache
Experience with Unit Test Writing
Experience in Docker, Kubernetes or Containerization
Experience in Azure or any other Cloud
Demonstrated experience with developing RESTful Microservices in an enterprise production environment
Demonstrated experience with unit and performance testing of web services
Demonstrated experience in creating and utilizing REST / JSON web service clients
Demonstrated experience in the mechanisms of enterprise software development including source control, repositories, Wikis, continuous integration and deployment
Demonstrated experience designing and architecting scalable and resilient enterprise software
Willingness and availability to be a part of a 24/7 production support team on a rotating basis
Strong development, analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, GitHub
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and pair programming is a plus
