Responsibilities
Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on requirements.
Works individually or as part of a team.
Reviews and tests software components, resolves software problem reports.
Utilizes appropriate software development and design methodologies.
Provides input to system design and requirements analysis.
Analyzes user requirements, debugs software, and provides recommendations for improvement.
Designs, codes, and integrates software, develops data queries, and writes system documentation.
Designs or implements complex algorithms, performs quality control, and oversees software development teams.
Coordinates software system installation and monitors equipment functioning.
Assists with developing and executing test procedures for software components.

Required
Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
6 years of experience building applications using specified programming languages per the development requirements
6 years of experience developing Windows or UNIX applications using scripting languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, Java, and Python)
6 years of DevOps experience building and deploying technologies (e.g., Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer)
6 years of experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins and Bamboo) and building automated CI/CD pipelines
