Responsibilities

Identifies business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.

Conducts data and case analysis, creates workflows, provides analytical support, and assists in various system troubleshooting.

Works with development team to ensure requirements and functionality are being met. Able to explain business-focused concepts to the rest of the development and client teams to ensure software meets expectations.

Establishes process and procedure for Business Analyst activities.

Creates workflow and process documentation to support project goals and objectives.

Requirements Gathering Facilitation – Drive client requirements gathering sessions to solicit and define business requirements; demonstrate ability to actively listen, define the root cause of pain points, and capture supporting details.

Document results in requirement document/use case format to support development and testing.

Defines client requirements including business specifications, configuration requirements, and system modification documentation using analysis methods appropriate for the project.

Maintains a shareable library of project documentation and practices.

Contributes to problem-solving to support efficient resolution of issues and to follow-up on outstanding defects.

Conducts impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology.

Writes requirement specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Acts as a liaison between operations teams and various Information Technology (IT) teams on new information technology projects

Works with development team to ensure requirements and functionality are being met
