Responsibilities

Design feasibility, cost analysis, and strength calculations.

Part construction, part specification, scheduling, and coordinating activities for prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned systems.

Work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately and evaluate technical proposals.

Write technical reports and make technical decisions with moderate supervision.

Report research and test results in various technical formats and collaborate with a team or work individually to achieve project goals.

Required

BS or MS in engineering

All the skills and abilities of Engineer L2

Proficient in technical writing

Possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications

Possess CATIA V5 and V6 experience with drawing creation, advanced surfacing, sheet metal, CAE, and draft analysis

Design feasibility, cost analysis, strength calculations, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned systems

Work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports

Make technical decisions with moderate supervision

Ability to report research and test results in various technical formats

Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals

Valid Ohio driver's license required
